About the artwork
The first king Kayumars sits among courtiers, animals, and rocky forms in a world organized by royal presence. Leopard skins, delicate figures, and gold details symbolize primordial kingship, cosmic order, and the heroic universe of the Shahnameh. The miniature compresses landscape, dynasty, and myth into a jewel-like field of pattern and authority.
